International Independence Day

Due to India and South Korea having the same independence day, we held an event in Indus International School Bangalore celebrating both cultures! During this event we served food that had semi-direct parallels with one another, selling Korean Sujeongwa and coffee alongside Indian Mango Lassi. We continued this with popular street food such as Korean dalgona and Indian bhel puri.

We did this in order to showcase the main similarities between the two cultures and cause others to appreciate the opposing culture through the same shared medium of food. This event was a massive success, garnering over 1000 different attendees.
