Our Story

My name is Aditya, and I’m an IBDP student at Indus International School, where I’m also an active participant in the StartupYou Student Entrepreneurship program.

Growing up in a multicultural household, with parents from two vastly different states of India, and living equally in both India and the United States over my 16 years, I’ve learned to navigate the complexities of a diasporic identity. While challenging at times, this journey has given me a unique ability to connect with and empathize across cultural divides.

But there’s one thing that has always brought these diverse experiences together: my immense love of food. You can often find me riding the metro across Bangalore, eagerly discovering new restaurants and sampling cuisines from around the world. This passion for food, combined with my desire to foster cultural exchange among youth, inspired me to create Bridging The Gap (BTG), an initiative dedicated to promoting intercultural understanding through the universal language of food.
